FOR THE DENTIST OF ALLEN

Our team is happy to help identify the type of insurance you have so we can effectively utilize your benefits to assist with your dental needs. The relationship you have with your insurance company is a direct relationship. Please keep in mind we are a 3rd party business, and sometimes insurance companies will not share details or take calls from us which may limit our ability to fully verify your plan details.

We are here to help, we do our very best to verify your dental benefits, as they apply to our providers. Many times we have found that insurance companies try to cut costs and only have automated systems or online references for us, as the 3rd party so this does at times prohibit the information we are able to acquire.

The Dentist of Allen is a “Fee for Service” General Dentist Office, this means you pay for your dental visits at the time service is rendered (we do have financing options available). We do our best to estimate your out of pocket cost based on the information we are able to obtain from your insurance company. We are not a contracted provider on any dental plan so we would be considered out-of-network

The Dentist of Allen files (sends dental claims) to PPO insurance on your behalf, this usually helps you lessen your up-front out of pocket cost.  If your dental plan sends the payment to you, like many Delta Dental plans do, we would expect you to sign that over to us or pay us any amounts owed for services rendered.

Your PPO Dental Insurance typically covers REGULAR preventative dental care. It is much less expensive for you to come in for your regularly scheduled professional dental cleaning and checkup appointments, than to try to control diseases or issues once they occur. The majority of preventive services are a fully covered benefit and it is in your best interest to utilize this coverage for a healthy mouth.
